it’s OCTOBER!

last i was here was in july. oh my, it’s been 3 months. haha! just a quick update on the past 3 months. my best friends helped me with a makeup photoshoot for my portfolio and they’re gorgeous! (shall do a picture post on that when i’m free) i had an AWESOME jalan raya with the DCP peeps plus we made new friends with the other stage guys. my 6 weeks break was spent going to and fro the fyp company and school but the most fun part was the photobooth camewhoring sessions i had with the 2 lovelies.

so finally started my last semester yesterday. oh how time flies~. before i know it, i’ll be going graduating already. first day of school, we started planning for a grad trip already. hahaha! kiasu right we?! and we’re going… BANGKOK!!! so now, i’m saving for korea AND bangkok. i’ll have to find a job immediately one i finish my exams in march. but it’s so exciting! we already looked into flights and hotels. i hope my parents allow me to go tho. i mean, i’ll be 20 by then. it’s about time my parents gave me my own space and let me decide on things by myself.

59 DAYS TO KOREA!!! I SO CAN’T WAIT!!! need to start writing a list of things i wanna bring and to get and also start coming out with ideas to coordinate my outfits since it’s gonna be winter there and we’ll be going for a week. i don’t want to bring a luggage full of clothes cos i won’t have space for my buys then. haha!

experimenting with love!

the one thing i love? MAKE UP! you can’t separate haniz and make up.
so usually during my free time, as a stress reliever, i like to take out my collection and just experiment with different looks. that way, i get practice. without a cert, being a freelancer is difficult. so the only thing i can do is just to keep experimenting and keep the creative side of me awake. that way, my skills improve. i’ve had so much experience all these years but they’re still not enough. currently the only people i get to do makeup on are my family and relatives so anyone who is interested in getting their make up done, do let me know! hehe.

finally we’ve received all our mst papers, exclusing the retest ytd. alhamdullilah i did well for everything except AOC. haha! well, AOC’s an exception to scoring cos organic chem’s my weakest.

oh and CZL WE LOVE YOU! he is the cutest most nicest and most lenient teacher ever! i wanted an extra mark so that i can jump a grade but instead of giving me 1m for writing the equation, the gave me 6m for the qn! i got the qn wong initially cos i forgot to change the units. typical calculation mistake. in the end, i jumped 2 grades! super happy! yay! first time after such a long time i’m happy with my results. everything went downhill last year and this mst has given me the motivation to push for good grades i just can’t express the happiness in me. all i have to say is… ALHAMDULILLAH! me and fadh have been saying that the whole week. haha!

need to start working on the datasheets and FRs. the down side for today, our FYP will be delayed for 3 weeks. OH NO! ):

i’m back!

i’m back! haha school’s been keeping me so occupied i. so much so that i totally forgot about this little space of mine. i’m gonna try to blog often. even short posts will do. i’ll try but no promises.

the last day of being 18.

it’s the 25th of April. the last day of me being 18. so for the past year, i’ve learnt A LOT! i mean who know me will know what i’ve been thru and stuffs so yea. i’m taking another step into adulthood as of tmr. however age is just a number. and yet it might be sensitive to some (like me! >.<).

the 25th of April. just another ordinary day spent in school. but things change when you know like ” woah i’m 19 tmr.” so yea i appreciated my last day.

i don’t hate you. but i can’t say i like like you. cos the whole thing is confusing for me. if only you would stop beating around the bush and let me know your real intentions. i might have misunderstood you, might have put too much thought into it. but whatever it is, you’ve been like a big brother that has done nothing to deserve that title, but just cos you’re older than me.  haha!

when there’s nothing to do…

when there’s nothing to do… i play with makeup! i’ll try to create different looks and play around with different colours. so just for the fun of it (and also cos i’m bored), i’ll post a look i did yesterday. i’ve done so many looks but i never really did upload them. mostly the pictures are just stored in my laptop. just for my own use >.<

i did a goldish coppery look for my eyes. but i tried using a red lipstick and a nude one. see how much difference lipstick colour can portray?

too ambitious!

i’m such a liar! i said i’ll blog regularly but i didn’t. >.< my bad! i wanted to blog after exams, about aisyah’s birthday surprise and the start of itp, or the times i meet the girls, but i didn’t… AT ALL! prolly the first or second post after the vday post i guess. haha!

Just a quickie, i’m already on my 5th week of attachment!!! it’s wednesday and i have 7 days left till school starts. i can’t believe i’m saying this but i just can’t wait for school to start. final year, lost of pressure but at least i’ll be able to see my beloved peeps everyday(:

anyways, back to topic. TOO AMBITIOUS! yes, that what i am now. a handful of my closest bunch know i want to get my make up artist cert and be a freelance make up artist. it’ll prolly be another few years or so before i’m able to do so (need to get my diploma done first and save up). so i’ve decided to create a port folio on my own so as to 1) to practice and showcase & 2) prepare myself for future potential clients. it’s hard getting a freelance job when you don’t have the proper cert so at least if i have a port folio, there’s something for people to look at and not just a cert. who knows, i MIGHT get clients. hence now i’m in the process of looking for models and the right camera. anyone interested to lend me their face, please let me know(:

besides make up, i have my jewelry business( Grandeur♥J) which i started with my sister last august. it’s just a small thing we do starting from necklaces only to rings and earring now! so hence for promotional purposes, i’ll be getting my friends to help me with this mini project.

first was make up and then it was my Grandeur♥J. i started selling cookies which i usually make for hari raya or just for the comfort of eating it and sharing it with my friends. due to the response i get from people, i decided to sell it. a bottle for $12! checkout my fb for the pictures(:

my last step to becoming too ambitious. designing and sewing my own clothes! HAHAHA I KNOW RIGHT! after coming across this video on youtube, i was just inspired to do the same. she made everything look simple. however it’s hard to get the materials she get at where i live. i can sew, but i just need to get the right cloths.

i realised studying didn’t contribute to ‘TOO AMBITIOUS‘. if only it did, i prolly won’t be too ambitious now. haha! it feels good to type everything out, just cos i’ve got nothing to do at work here. HAHA!

suppose to be studying but noooo, i ended up watching music videos. Kan Mi Yeon‘s new song is pretty catchy. when i first saw the video, i started to wonder if she was from YG cos i saw Jihye and all the other YG dancers. but anws, the thing that caught my eye was definitely the presents of baby Hyung Joon in the video. i love this guy to bits!♥♥♥ hahaha! that aside, i really like the song. Eric rapped a bit for the song. i was expecting more tho. anws, enjoy(:

vday…not!

uh i don’t celebrate v-day but oh whatever. i haven’t blogged in ages! i didn’t keep to my resolution:P the last time i blogged, it was near new year and school just started. now, it’s almost exam period! OMG SO FAST RIGHT?!?!

i’m done with reports, now it’s test and exam time! 3 tests down, 1 more to go and then 5 exam papers! jia you to me!

anws, the past month or so has just been overwhelming. with someone. i was watching “Taisetsu na koto was subete kimi ga oshiete kurete” and i realised how similar Toda Erika’s character was to me. all we needed was an apology and move on. but then, when i got it, it just didn’t seem right in a way cos somehow the apology was ‘incomplete’. but whatever, i’m through with that. the whole situation became so awkward after that, seeing you was so awkward. but somehow, i do blame myself a little bit. oh well, again, i’m through with the whole situation and i’m through with all the ‘be my date, i’ll pay for you’ drama from you ppl.
